Wisconsin -AP) - Are you up for a blue brew? A Wisconsin company
is getting ready to sell blueberry beer. BluBeer will be
available first in the Madison area this summer. HMS WorldSupply
is already selling BluBeer in Japan. The company says the
Japanese will be drinking about 200-thousand dollars worth of
blue brew this year. Japan was chosen as the first test market
because of the popularity of the blueberry, which is prized for
both its taste and supposed health benefits. If blueberry beer
is a hit in Wisconsin, the company hopes to expand the US
market.
