BluCreek Blueberry Ale - Did you know...
How is BluCreek made?

Photo of BreweryHow did we decide where to craft brew BluCreek™ Blueberry Ale? We looked for locations that are known for making quality goods, a natural environment conducive to the freshness and purity of our beer, and a local population skilled in the production of the highest caliber products.

We began brewing BluCreek™ (originally "BluBeer™") Blueberry Ale in the Santa Clara Valley region of Southern California- a historic American wine region. With an abundance of open spaces and fertile soils, a long winemaking history, and a reputation for superior wines, the area surrounding the brewery is home to over a dozen small vineyards and wineries. These small wineries, termed "micro-wineries," consider attention to detail and product quality, not product volume, the guiding principles in their operations.

Or perhaps it is the beauty of the location- the nearby ocean, forests, and State parks that made us feel this was the place to produce our beer. Most likely it is a combination of both. The quality and attention to detail local producers stress when creating their products combined with the beauty of the surrounding environment, convinced us this was the best place to start making BluCreek™ Blueberry Ale.

In the Midwest, we brew our beer in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, where the purity of the artesian water supply makes it an ideal place for producing BluCreek™ beers.  If you are ever passing through, stop by the brewery at 320 Pierce Street and experience our beer fresh from the tap!
