This web site wouldn’t be complete without some information on the three monomaniacal (a cool word that should be used whenever possible) people behind the candy. 

Combine an obsession for providing young people like ourselves with products we want with some free time hanging out in the Midwest, and the result is a pretty small (albeit wide awake) Company. Hope this page makes you feel like you know a little more about the people behind Moovitz.

Runi spends her days trying to figure out exactly what you want, and how best to give it to you. On any given day she can be found deep in thought (usually in front of a computer) pondering the virtues of quality and trying to make our candy even better (to make her life a little easier, click here and tell her how).

She spends her evenings making sure Moovitz are always top notch in quality and always meet our demanding customers’ needs (a process she calls "continuous quality improvement"). Keeping her fingers crossed and making sure the web site is functioning properly is also a top priority.

Long after everyone else has gone to bed, Runi devotes herself to figuring out how to fit more caffeine into each and every piece of Moovitz. She also makes sure our candy is produced and shipped on time. Quality, a not altogether unhealthy obsession, is almost certainly on her mind too.

Tom spends most of his time "in the barn" thinking about how to revolutionize the candy industry. Unfortunately, since the candy industry doesn’t particularly want to be revolutionized, he isn’t having much luck. He also oversees product sales of Moovitz. He generally spends his days meeting with, and trying to convince, people to carry our wonderful candy. So if you would like to see Moovitz in your area, let him know. He also tends to give away a lot of candy, so if you’re nice he might be able to hook you up.

In his spare time, Tom likes to drink coffee (with lots of milk), eat Moovitz, and check in on what Runi and Monica are doing. Although they invariably claim he "annoys" and "bothers" them, he’s sure it’s just their over-caffeinated nerves making them edgy.

As the financial wizard in our Company, Monica has perhaps the most important job of all- making sure we receive some sort of pay on a regular basis. She also spends her time wondering how we manage to give away so much candy and still make money. To temporarily relieve some of her anxiety, why not drop her a message here and place an order!

Monica is also responsible for most of the artwork that appears on our packaging. She is a pretty nifty artist, and our Company provides her with a convenient creative outlet. Although we worry that the combination of so much artistic and accounting talent in one mortal might result in dramatic unintended consequences, right now everything is great and here’s to hoping it stays that way.
